The photo was taken on a Canon 400D with a 3 second shutter speed. The picture on its own isn't all that exciting (was a bit of a fail camera outing, plus it rained ). So I thought I'd add a bit of Dash.
And suddenly, I like the picture
The blinking is a little sluggish unfortunately, and it's actually pretty difficult to blend the 2D animated world with our own and make it look convincing; so I'm not sure if I've succeeded on that part. But otherwise, I'm feeling reasonably happy with this
Very high detailed With good originality but rough movement in blinking. The light in the background flickering isn't smooth but outstanding shading quality when it dims down. The smoothness in the wave in the tail and mane with the slight flick of the wings bring her to life as if she was really there. Beautiful detail with no problems in the body or mane. A odd place for her to stand though but it is the only good place to put her in the foreground to make her stand out. The eyes shimmering in the light and the light on her body makes her 3D.
its cute & really well done. but it looks like she is sad or maybe lost & she needs some one to hold her i don't see much of this type of art thees days so its rare seeing rainbow dash on a city street looking sad macks me want to hug her & say its going to be ok its that touching to me its stuff like this that macks the web site so nice. & i don't know if you get a lot of sweet reviews like this so i hope you do keep up the good work & i hope to see more
This picture (in GIF and PNG) should be used as example "Why APNG is necessity nowadays". Seriously, what serious graphical format has 256 colors limitation? Picture is beatiful, at least in APNG.
I kinda like the blend and the sluggish animation. It reminds me of computer software in the 90s when computers were getting advanced enough to make this sort of blending more common. So kind of a nostalgia effect.
